Spring Whitewater School
Volunteer, Instructor, Food Form

This form will help us organize the volunteers, equipment, and food for the Spring Whitewater School. The school is April 13-15, 2007 with a similar format to what we have done in the past.

If you are willing to help with the school please fill in this form to indicate which days you are committing to help.

INSTRUCTORS

EQUIPMENT

Equipment Loans: The school depends on equipment loans to provide boats for instructors and students. Each boat being loaned must be outfitted with floatation and supplied with enough paddles, and PFDs for each paddler. Kayaks must also be provided with a spray skirt

For Tandem canoes, the instructor will be responsible for the boat and the student will be assigned to the instructor. For Solo canoes, we will try to provide a pool of boats so we need extra boats. For kayaks we need a supply of entry level kayaks so that we can fit each student.

FOOD

Saturday's dinner will be provided for all volunteers involved with the school as a thank you for your help. The kitchen crew has the main course planned, but are open on desserts and appetizers. If you would like to bring a dish to add to the offerings, it would be greatly appreciated (but not expected). Please indicate on the form what you would bring.
