Stream Flow Conditions: These are a great set of pages that
contain generated graphs for each river. You can see the flow trend as the
river rises or falls. You can also get historical information and graphs for
any time that the gauge was active in the past. You can look up river
conditions for some of your past trips to correlate with the canoeing

Notes: These pages use several terms that you may want defined:
"Flow" or "Streamflow" is defined as the volume of water that passes a
given point within a given period of time. Streamflow is in cubic feet per
second.
"Stage" defined as the height of the water surface above an established
datum plane; not necessarily referenced to mean sea-level. This is what we
refer to a Gauge or Gauge Level, although our gauges do not necessarily
match theirs.
"Long-term median flow" defined as the median of the daily-mean flows
on this date for the period of record (in cubic feet per second)

The Merrimack River
Watershed Council (MRWC) - Works to protect and restore the Merrimack
River Watershed Sponsors of canoe & kayak trips throughout the region. The
trips are free, led by volunteers, and are held nearly every weekend from
