An automated toll-free phone system that gives USGS levels. Since more people have cell phones than cellular modems, laptops and PDAs, you should carry this info with you on your next whitewater road trip. Call (800)452-1737, you’ll be directed by voice prompts.

• The code for the Piscataquog (Goffstown) is 331175

• Contoocook is 331145

• Merrimack in Manchester is 331156.

The Waterline is operated by The National River Information Hotline (www.h2oline.com) where you can get information on most of the rivers that NHAMC paddles online, phone, cell phone, etc.
