Greetings from southern Thailand. We hope you enjoy this issue. Thanks
to Jim Lewis for his great story on the Jacques-Cartier trip which I hope
many of you will manage to paddle with us this year. Thanks also to Julia
Steed-Mawson and Skip Morris for putting together the Spring schedule. As
most of you know, the schedule is posted on our website. As changes and
additions are made to the schedule, they will be posted there. Last minute
trips will also be announced on the nhamcpaddlers@topica.com
mailing list.
We've had a little controversy over the use of the list and hopefully
that has been resolved. I had hoped that content of the messages and the
number of messages on that list would be limited so that as many people as
possible would be comfortable being on the list. Gung ho internet users
should be very sensitive that many people do not have the time nor
inclination to handle large numbers of email. I still hope people will be
considerate.
If you are not on it, I would suggest joining it as much of what is
going on will be announced through that mechanism. Go to our web site
