Spring Whitewater Paddling School

by Tom Todd

The Spring Whitewater School is scheduled for April 6-8, 2001 with roughly the same format we've used for many years.

The committee consists of Rod Dore (chair), Verniel Morin (registrar), Dick Morin (logistics), Tom Todd (Instructor Organizer) and Leslie Hollweg (drafted to head up the kitchen).

This is a great time to learn the joys of paddling introductory whitewater as well as improve your skills for handling obstacles while touring. If you are interested or have a friend who is interested in attending this fantastic school, please contact Verniel Morin at [see contact list] to get an application.

We have had a good response to our on-line request for help with instruction, boat loans, logistics, and food. We will contact those not on-line shortly. We would appreciate anyone wanting to help out using our special form on our web site: www.nhamcpaddlers.org/school.htm

Those wanting to volunteer their services and don't have on-line access should contact Rod Dore to volunteer. [see contact list]

This year we will have a new kitchen crew. We can use help in that area with food donation, help in the kitchen, and the purchasing of the supplies.
