We had a great paddling Spring with a lot of rain to fill the rivers.
I’ve heard comments like this is the wettest drought on record. I even got
out some on my recovery from back surgery.
I did the almost final edits on this in Taos, NM on our way to paddle
the Grand Canyon with a bunch of other NH AMC Paddlers. This trip has been
3 years in the making and we’re all excited. You’ll hear the story and
pictures in the next WrapAround with a preview here.
Unfortunately this issue does not include a good number of trip and
paddling stories that everyone seems to love. It has been hard getting
people to write them and send them too me. Writing the story of your trip
is fun and serves to give you a record of your trip to reminisce.
As most of you know, we’ve been putting a lot of our effort into
keeping you current through the email list. It is a very effective way for
us to let you know about last minute paddling opportunities and remind you
of others.
Note:
This is an abridged version of the newsletter. The difference is that
this (publicly accesible) version does not have phone numbers and email
addresses. The PDF
version and the Word
version in the members' section has the Wraparound as mailed
with emails and phones. Additionally, all telephone numbers (the newsletter's contact page) will
be in the members' section. Your comments are welcome.
